Purpose:
Performs the technical documentation function activities. Uses the ERP/MRP system to reproduce engineering/manufacturing documentation, such as drawings, bills of materials, parts list specifications, and engineering change orders. Ensures that master drawing files and history files are accurate and current and that effective control is maintained over drawings and other document records. Coordinates with graphics, engineering, sourcing, finance, and production to provide document control services. May be required to keep documentation for external regulations or procedural guidelines such as ISO-9000 standards, IEEE, or FDA.
Main Responsibilities
- Review, enter, and implement all graphics-related data into the Oracle ERP/MRP system
- Ability to coordinate information with the graphics team and other subject matter experts to ensure production documentation is accurate and current
- Assuring authored documents are in compliance with document control specifications
- Contributes in the document control functions for graphic data management
- Organizes and reviews project deliverables and monitors quality to ensure all documents conform to established standards and procedures
- Identify and resolve problems regarding data control in collaboration with stakeholders
- Attend and participate in team meetings and problem resolution
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- +3 years of equivalent job assignments experiences
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work with a high volume of documents in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and process-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization
- Excellent listening skills, and be able to handle multiple requests while detailing document activity
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Focus on a task and follow a precise process to the conclusion
Preferred Skills
- Competency in Excel, database management, and SharePoint a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Oracle experience is a plus
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Salary Range : $69,271.40 - $78,573.00
