Pay Plan & Growth Track:
Our pay plan is commensurate with experience. This particular role ranges from $18-$22 per hour but technicians can make twice or even three times (2-3x) that with the appropriate skills as they learn and grow. The Position:
Audio Images is looking for low voltage cable installers in Orange County, California, to work in the construction of custom home theatres, media rooms, whole-home audio/video, integration, communication, and lighting control technologies. We will train the ideal candidate that shows an aptitude and interest in the audio-visual industry. **Please note this is not a qualifying position to earn apprentice hours.
Day-to-Day:
- Pulling a variety of low-voltage cabling in residential construction
- Installation of rough-In devices
- Other duties will be assigned as work progresses
Keys to Success:
- Previous hands-on experience in the construction trade
- Compliance with OSHA standards and company safety standards
- Someone who is punctual and reliable
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Let's Get Physical (it's an old song reference...):
- Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pull wire
- Fully squat, stoop, or kneel
- Maintain standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires
- Work off ladders
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including cold, rain, heat, etc.
- Ability to tolerate high noise levels subject to a construction site
