WHAT WE'RE DOINGSupports programs, projects, products, services and off-site operations in compliance with government regulations and contractual commitments. Provides monitoring and status of overall Program material acquisition profile and uses a data-driven mindset to drive overall health of the Program against key contract delivery dates.
A level 2 employee is typically junior-career and has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.THE WORK• Assists the Subcontract Program Manager in organizing, planning and directing all purchasing/material activities including general purchasing, subcontract management, resources, financial controls and material management.
• Develops and controls policies, procedures, programs, systems and assure timely and economical procurement of all material, parts, assemblies, equipment and services as well as the timely planning, control and distribution of all materials, property and customer assets required to manufacture

• Understanding of the procurement process
• Working knowledge of SAP and P2P
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Ability to travel as required

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
