KBR is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE, supporting the USAID Procurement Service Agent (PSA) HIV program. This full-time position offers a hybrid remote/office work schedule and reports directly to the Sr. Procurement and Logistics Manager. The Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to meet client needs and program objectives. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, expediting and verifying shipments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support order fulfillment. Roles and Responsibilities
Establish and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of correct materials in specified quantities, aligning with scheduled delivery dates.
Coordinate and expedite product movement from suppliers through warehouse handling to final delivery, adhering to PSA timelines and objectives.
Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments according to purchase terms, INCOTERMS, import/export regulations, and client-specific instructions.
Provide direction to warehouse and logistics teams on packing, labeling, and shipping requirements to ensure compliance and reduce errors.
Conduct or oversee inspections on incoming products to confirm adherence to established quality and quantity specifications.
Process and verify subcontractor invoices, ensuring compliance with established rates and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive shipment records and ensure all documentation aligns with policies, procedures, and overall business strategy.
Track changes in supply chain status and update clients and management on the progress, anticipating and addressing potential issues.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse personnel, logistics providers, and quality assurance teams to meet PSA objectives and ensure efficient fulfillment of client orders.

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse management, logistics and supply chain management, particularly in handling medical equipment, consumables, and pharmaceuticals.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are highly advantageous.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of international shipment terminology, INCOTERMS, and import/export compliance, particularly in the UAE, EU and Africa.
Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), or LMS (Logistics Management System).
Previous experience with IPMS (Integrated Project Management System) is desirable.
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
