We're looking for an exceptionally creative and driven person who can help our firm with front end marketing and sales. You will be communicating with architects, designers, and contractors nationwide regarding our products, providing design and technical information.
This position requires the candidate to have excellent communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of basic construction and some detailing or experience in similar architectural metal systems. Additionally, candidates should have a professional demeanor, thrive in a service-oriented position, hardworking, punctual, honest, loyal, motivated self-starter, and want to be a long-term contributing team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming calls and emails, re-directing to appropriate team members
- Provide ongoing support to front-end team, including but not limited to:
- Follow up on new and existing projects for updates, client relationship building, and milestones
- Logging, maintaining and updating data Sales Force as applicable
- Creating and running reports in Sales Force
- Assist with researching target market areas
- Assist with searching for projects on Dodge feeds and vetting them
- Attend client meetings and come prepared with resources (digital assets, samples)
- Send out samples to perspective clients
- Assist in all preparation for tradeshows
- Set up Zoom charettes, L&Ls and meetings with clients
- Assist with identifying leads throughout all regions
- Assist with coordinating information to outside sales reps
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential as you will be working across various projects, products, and scales concurrently
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales in architecture, design, architecture metal suppliers or construction industries, and basic knowledge of construction and some detailing.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, sales, marketing or construction management preferred
- Proficient in CAD and reading drawings, Salesforce. Adobe CS preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient at authoring, maintaining sheets and creating formulas in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service skills and sales flairs.
- Must be organized, punctual, and a self-starter
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $80,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience, education, and other qualifications.
