The Supply Chain Data Operations Senior Analyst designs and implements global electronic commerce solutions (EDI, XML, EAI, Web EDI, etc.) and processes for Information Technology (IT), Merchandising, Logistics, Distribution and Store personnel in collaboration with software companies, network service providers, vendors, and freight carriers. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and managing multiple projects related to business to business (B2B) supply chain initiatives. The position serves as a team lead for the EDI department and provides guidance and direction to the EDI Coordinator personnel. The Supply Chain Data Operations Senior Analyst will also have primary responsibility to coordinate the electronic information flow across various business areas (e.g., Distribution, Purchasing) utilizing available technologies to improve processes. To accomplish this, the Supply Chain Data Operations Senior Analyst must have working knowledge of ANSI and EDIFACT EDI Standards. A basic understanding of business utilization of EDI information sent from and received into multiple Lowe's business areas is crucial. In addition, a working knowledge of web content management, web security standards & web browser functionality is necessary to manage the LowesLink® Vendor Portal and its components. The Supply Chain Data Operations Senior Analyst will collaborate directly with business areas across the enterprise in order to ensure timely transmission of electronic commerce documents that conform to industry standards. In addition, they will provide project support to teams across the enterprise for business area utilization and implementation of electronic commerce solutions.
• This position formulates and implements project plans for the integration and deployment of dynamic B2B solutions to facilitate the exchange and processing of business-critical information and transactions throughout the global supply chain with Lowe’s business partners
• Work with project stakeholders to identify, analyze and outline detailed work flow processes and business requirements; work with Information Technology (IT) to develop system design and detailed functional specifications and assess impact of changes to processes and/or systems.
• Design, test, and implement electronic commerce documents and visibility solutions with Lowe’s business partners to support strategic supply chain programs.
• Oversee the ongoing integration of electronic commerce technology with various business systems.
• Work closely with Information Technology to design, develop, and execute test plans; conduct and manage unit testing and user acceptance testing.
• Educate vendors on Lowe’s capabilities, standards and best practices; design and administer training programs.
• Provide leadership on complex electronic commerce implementations with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
• Develop and maintain electronic commerce specifications, implementation guides, procedures and statistics that are used to establish and maintain electronic commerce relationship with Lowe’s vendors and freight carriers.
• Act as a liaison between EDI personnel and Information Technology support teams.
• Develop/implement new electronic commerce technologies to decrease operating expenses, increase productivity and customer service, and increase competitiveness in the global marketplace
• Develop, implement & support web based applications for the LowesLink® B2B vendor portal.
• Support external development of electronic commerce software for Lowe’s business partners to ensure compliance with Lowe’s and industry standards.
• Stay current with electronic commerce industry practices and procedures. Serves as a resource to provide insight into industry practices as they relate to electronic commerce initiatives.
• Represent Lowe’s interest in the development of supply chain standards in the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) and VICS/GS1 US Standards Committees.
• Assist the manager with recruiting, training, directing, coaching, evaluating, supervising and supporting EDI Coordinator personnel.

Pay Range: $70,400.00 - $117,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
