Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Expert with Microsoft Tier 3 Support Experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT support, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
This role requires expertise in various technologies, including internal DNS, TCP/IP, and firewall management. If you are passionate about technology and have a knack for troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.
Duties
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for Microsoft products and services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and other networking components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for IT challenges.
- Utilize excel or Jira for tracking support tickets and managing workflow efficiently.
- Conduct system diagnostics and performance tuning on windows-based systems.
- Manage computer systems effectively, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the appropriate systems (e.g., Remedy) for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support roles, specifically with Microsoft Tier 3 support.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in DNS management, TCP/IP protocols, firewall configurations, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira and Remedy for issue tracking and resolution.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Project assignments - including and not limited to exchange to cloud 365, cad to windchill cloud services; epicor to cloud addons and more
- Able to handle internal networking and hardware
