Military Executive Assistant
Key Role:
Provide clerical and administrative support services to senior leadership. Develop and maintain administrative documents and generate and distribute general communications. Provide administrative support for meetings, maintain an automated daily schedule of all engagements, monitor office secretarial operations on own initiative, and recommend any changes in technical or administrative policy, as needed. Review all incoming correspondence, including publications, regulations, and directives and rout through the appropriate sections, offices, and subordinates, as necessary. Incorporate knowledge of administrative concepts and principles to develop new procedures to eliminate conflict and duplication of work efforts. Serve on a personal staff contact for maintaining close liaison and effective working relationships with internal and external offices. Establish procedures to assure safeguarding of classified information and perform other administrative tasks required for daily office operations.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools
Experience with maintaining calendars
Experience with coordinating and arranging travel
Experience in interfacing with the Department of Defense
Experience with electronic record keeping and the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Ability to advise personnel at all levels while fostering positive business relationships
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with providing administrative support to senior leadership or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with providing administrative support to senior leadership
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the United States Marine Corps
Experience supporting executive level leadership
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
