Role Overview:
As our Salesforce Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our Salesforce environment to support internal teams, including Sales, Channel Partners, and Client Success. Your work will ensure these teams can operate with maximum efficiency, helping drive both customer satisfaction and business growth. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the Salesforce platform, streamline workflows, and leverage cutting-edge solutions to enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Channel Support: Collaborate closely with Sales and Channel Partner teams to design and implement Salesforce configurations that streamline lead management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and partner engagement.
- Client Success Enablement: Work with the Client Success team to develop tools and dashboards that provide better visibility into customer health, onboarding progress, support requests, and renewal opportunities.
- Customization & Development: Build, configure, and maintain custom Salesforce applications, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components to align platform functionality with evolving business needs.
- Process Automation: Implement and maintain process automations (e.g., Flows, Process Builder) to increase efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and ensure accurate data flow across teams.
- Data Management & Integrations: Guarantee data integrity, manage integrations with other enterprise systems (JIRA, Confluence, QuickBooks, and create robust reporting and analytics for sales performance, customer insights, and business metrics.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct thorough testing, peer code reviews, and adhere to best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, releases, and ecosystem innovations; proactively recommend enhancements that keep us ahead in the market.
Qualifications:
- Experience Over Credentials: 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience required; formal degree not mandatory.
- Technical Expertise: Proven skills in Salesforce configuration, Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and API integrations. Familiarity with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is a plus.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements from Sales, Channel, and Client Success teams into technical solutions that improve productivity and drive customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively in a remote setting, build rapport with diverse stakeholders, and deliver clear documentation and training.
- Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I or II and any relevant Salesforce certifications are advantageous but not required.
