About the Opportunity
The Cupric Etch Operator processes panels through the Cupric Etch Machine and ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with Team Leader direction, Traveler information and Standard Operating Procedures.
Please Note: The available work schedule consists of first-shift hours (7:30am to 4:00pm); however, training will take place during the second shift (4:00pm to 12:30am).
What You'll Do:
- Completes Process Analysis Log and reviews Traveler prior to start of work to ensure that prior processes have been completed and signed off on
- Sets up Cupric Etch Machine based on copper weight information
- Operates the Cupric Etch Machine, including set up, start/stop and general maintenance (e.g., replacement of strip resist, cleaning with hydrochloric acid)
- Loads and unloads panels through the Cupric Etch Machine
- Visually inspects panels before and after processing for non-conformances (e.g., over/under develop, scratches, handling, resist spots, damage, over or under etch)
- Completes Production logs
- Performs other duties as required
- Must be available to work required 1st Shift schedule (7:30am to 4:00pm)
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds, as well as repetitive hand motion and outward reaching.

- 8-hour shift
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
