Duties:
- Assist medical professionals with patient care and examinations
- Collect and process medical records and documents
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Provide dementia care and support to patients with developmental disabilities
- Perform various medical tests and procedures
- Prepare medical equipment and supplies
- Keep medical records organized and up-to-date
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals
- Handle patient communication and respond to inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized medical office environment
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical records and documentation
- Experience working in a medical office or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality guidelines
- Experience providing care and support to patients with dementia and developmental disabilities
- Ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and medical professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
