Role Summary:
The Salesforce Architect (SA) designs, implements, and maintains customized applications and technical systems on the Salesforce Lightning Cloud platform. The SA manages the end-to-end CRM capabilities, including design, development, testing, and incorporating internal and external user feedback. The SA collaborates with various stakeholders across all levels of organization to optimize and enhance the company’s systems.
- Designs, develops, implements, configures, maintains, and integrates solutions on the Salesforce Cloud platform, ensuring scalability, extensibility, and ease of maintenance.
- Ensures all development aligns with defined Salesforce CRM architecture standards.
- Leverages Azure DevOps for tracking, managing, and prioritizing work efforts.
- Partners with Product and development teams to achieve project objectives through iterative delivery.
- Collaborates with internal and external technology and business partners to implement changes and enhancements.
- Leads technical system definitions and roadmaps, supporting digital transformation and ongoing system enhancements.
- Incorporates user feedback to refine and simplify the CRM system for optimal user experience.
Education and Functional Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce CRM implementation at the senior Architect level
- Specific experience in the FinTech industry, preferably in the lending space within the past 5 to 7 years.
- Specific experience with “scale and exit” organizations and their unique challenges to achieve large scale within smaller business constraints.
- Expert in Salesforce Deployment tools such as ANT, Change Sets, and Force.com IDE.
- Expert experience with various UI technologies (e.g., Bootstrap, Lightning Design System, AngularJS) and APEX coding.
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps (preferred), JIRA, or other work management tools.
- Proven integration experience with REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.
- Expert in creating and executing forward looking Salesforce best-practice aligned technical solutions and work breakdowns, recommending alternative approaches, defining technical impacts, and providing highly reliable sizing estimates.
- Strong experience working on an Agile methodology team, including all required Agile ceremonies, and sprint commitments.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, including Master Data Management (MDM), data quality management, and data governance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reliability: 90% of all sprint committed work items for both the Architect and all resources on the Architects squad are approved by Product for release and delivered to production on time within the sprint.
- Efficiency: Velocity per sprint meets or exceeds planned Capacity per sprint. Sprint committed completed work product for both the Architect and all resources on the Architects squad is at least 90% of all sprint committed estimates.
- Quality: 5% or less of sprint work effort is related to confirmed bugs from prior work items for both the Architect and all resources on the Architects squad.
