Leidos Corporate Group has an immediate opening for an IT Infrastructure Deployment Support Technician to join our CIO Services team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate onsite technology deployment projects across the CONUS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install Leidos infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless controllers, UPS, etc) and simultaneously manage / coordinate up to 15 projects or activities
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams
- Interact with and brief leadership and cross-functional teams
- Install rack mounted servers and other associated equipment
- Manage and coordinate multiple small to medium complexity projects simultaneously
- Provide enterprise infrastructure installation and connectivity support
- Develop network infrastructure rack elevations
- Provide network cabling support, including troubleshooting of connectivity based on documentation provided by network engineers
- Design and explain network diagrams
- Create reports and provide input to management and staff on issues.
- Lead technical teams to achieve project objectives.
- Interface with management when issues arise and make decisions based on needs.
- Coach and review the work of technical staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of IT Support experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong knowledge of network topology and VLAN’s
- Understanding of transport mediums and telecommunication terms
- Understanding of facility floor plans and architectural drawings
- Understanding and ability to explain electrical and cooling requirements as it relates to infrastructure
- Must be physically fit as the position will require standing, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces for extended periods
- Able to lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs
- Ability to travel throughout the United States on a regular basis (up to 50%)
- Experience with and understanding of data center electrical and cooling
- Experience with and understanding of data cabling standards and mediums
- Experience with ServiceNow for tracking and reporting on tickets and trends
- Familiarity with various Networking equipment and designing the layout and cabling of a network closet.
- Ability to work Independently and as a Team
- US Citizenship is required and able to obtain a federal security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting Linux, Mac OS, and iOS devices.
- Experience installing enterprise Printer & Copier work centers
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+ or similar industry certifications
- Microsoft Visio network documentation experience
- Experience leading a team of technical and non-technical personnel

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
