General Purpose of PositionResponsible for the Deployment of Body Controls Software Calibration (i.e., BCM – Body Control Module and ELM – Exterior Lighting Module) for various Vehicle Programs at General Motors. ResponsibilitiesAs the single point Body Controls Software Calibration Engineering personnel for various GM Vehicle Programs perform the following major functions: Plan and Implement Body Controls Software Feature/Function content for different Model Years of the assigned Vehicle(s) in collaboration with the Vehicle Program Team relevant Engineering Teams (Software Engineering, Calibration, Testing, ..) Work closely with Supplier Resident Engineers to develop Calibrations and then deploy Program specific Body Controls Software Calibrations to support various Vehicle milestones Participate in and help Support Body Controls Bench Vehicle level Validation Testing For assigned Program’s Body Controls Software/Calibration Issues reported by our Internal External customers (Captured Test Fleet, Vehicle Assembly Plants, Dealerships, end Customers, ..) have complete ownership of Issues – Debugging/Root-Causing thru timely Implementation of Corrective plans in order to support Program milestones
