Commercial HVAC Installer
We are actively recruiting all skill levels of Commercial HVAC Installers to join our team! Perform commercial installations and retrofits on Air Conditioning and Heating systems. Compensation based on experience and abilities. Applicant may join as an apprentice ($20-25/hr.), mid-level ($26-32/hr.), or journeyman ($33-50/hr.) HVAC installer, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install, clean, and maintain HVACR systems
- Install electrical components and wiring
- Inspect and test HVACR systems and components
- Keep records of work performed
- Respond to emergency/service maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- 5+ years of experience preferred for journeyman; 2-3+ years for mid-level; 0-1+ years for apprentice
Work Environment:
- Worksites may be very hot or cold because the heating and cooling systems they must repair may not be working properly
- Some parts of these systems are located outdoors
- Working in cramped spaces and during irregular hours is common
- Must be able to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs., as well as perform overhead work and crawling/squatting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
