Hilton Pensacola Beach is currently seeking experienced servers for immediate hire. We are in search of motivated individuals with a positive outlook and a commitment to maintaining high service standards. Join our team as a server in Salt, our main dining room, where you'll deliver a refined dining experience featuring exceptional wine service, craft cocktails, and a Mediterranean-inspired menu.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
-Must have basic wine and presentation knowledge, capability to learn our portfolio of spirits, and attend wine tastings and wine service meetings.
-Knowledge of appropriate table settings, steps of service, small ware, and menu items.
-Ability to memorize menus, recipes, and procedures.
-Holiday availability. Restaurant is open on all holidays and often features events on these days.
-Ability to carry up to 40lbs. Including trays, ice buckets, cases of paper products, etc.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
2 years upscale dining experience - hospitality field positions
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Must be able to attend food safety, responsible vendor, and CPR classes when assigned by management.
GROOMING/UNIFORMS
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process. Unnatural hair colors and facial piercings are not permitted.
