Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor students: Provide personalized coaching and support to help students navigate their academic journey, address challenges, and develop essential skills.
- Build strong relationships: Connect with students on a personal level, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Identify and address student needs: Proactively identify at-risk students and implement appropriate interventions to ensure their success.
- Promote student engagement and retention: Participate in campus events and initiatives to enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning community.
- Collaborate with campus teams: Partner with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure seamless student support and address any concerns effectively.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in education, student support, or a related field preferred
Skills:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
