Award winning 90-bed post acute care facility seeks to hire a hands on manager to oversee our maintenance, housekeeping and laundry departments. The position is responsible for maintaining and coordinating work for the extensive heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and fire alarm systems in the facility, along with scheduling and managing 10-12 employees in the combined departments. Equipment includes boilers, air-conditioning equipment, pumps, condensers, generators, compressors, washers, dryer and sprinklers. Routine preventative maintenance work along with coordinating with other departments within the facility are a large part of the position.
Although most work weeks will be M-F, the position requires working on holidays, nights and weekends, dependent on urgent needs. Exposure to OSHPD and Life Safety Code, along with prior healthcare experience preferred. Successful candidate possesses solid communication and organizational skills with deep understanding of customer service.
