Senior Business Support Specialist
The Business Support Specialist will provide direct support for the Program Element Office – Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (PEO-C3BM) in the form of administrative (e.g., calendar management, planning, scheduling, and facilitating internal PEO-C3BM Team meetings and external meetings with stakeholders), and technical support to the government lead(s) for PEO-C3BM and related programs.
This job requires a highly motivated and organized individual to assist the Senior Materiel Leader (SML), Deputy Division Chief and Chief Engineer for PEO-C3BM with their administrative duties as needed.
Responsibilities may include:
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, take broad direction on multiple tasks and work collaboratively
- Coordinate with senior managers to schedule and facilitate meetings
- Create executive-level communications
- Performing an array of administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of five years working in a professional office environment
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Office 365), particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficiency with MS Teams and/or other collaboration applications including SharePoint
- The ability to listen and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- US citizenship and a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Ten years experience working in government or defense industry environment
- Expert skills with MS Office Suite (Office 365), particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with Acquisition and budgeting processes
- Active Top Secret w/SCI
