Description:You will be the Contracts Management Senior for the MFC team in Arlington, TX. Our team is responsible for supporting the THAAD FMS Program pursuits and associated Offset/Localization DCS efforts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Senior, you will be responsible for providing contract administration support and expertise to drive business success. You will review, interpret, and negotiate contract requirements, analyze contract change impacts, and advise the team on requests for proposals.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform contracts management functions across the entire contract lifecycle
• Provide proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration assistance for programs and special projects
• Offer business advice and guidance to cross-functional teams, including program management, finance, and legal
• Serve as the authorized representative for the Company, building effective relationships with customer representatives
• Ensure contractual compliance with laws and regulations, and lead/support audits as needed
• Evaluate and coordinate proposals, investigating and reconciling significant contract changes
• Occasional travel is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Prior experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out.
Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP) and cost type contracts (CPIF).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.
Desired Skills:
Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or THAAD work experience.
Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience.
Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures.
FMS Contracting, DCS contracting, and Offset/Localization experience.
Ability to engage in routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts.
Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships.
Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, invoicing, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
