Learn more about our Hypersonic Solutions As the HSWS Manager for the Requirements and Verification, your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to, the following:• Provide technical leadership and manage group resources to plan, develop, and execute requirements and verification development
• Lead team members to evolve, manage, and maintain requirements baseline, ensuring verification and validation planning is documented
• Manage and maintain allocations and traceability for flow down of requirements to component level
• Lead and manage the DOORS team
• Assist in developing impact assessments through Requests For Change (RFC) process
• Provide guidance to program on R&V processes; document updates, deviations and waivers, and manage the change control process (PCCB).
• Provide guidance and support to Verification Lead who chairs Verification Review Board
• Provide guidance and support to Subsystem and Component specification authors across program
• Develop, maintain, and present metrics to status management and customer on requirements and verification management planning and execution progress
• Work with Control Account Manager (CAM) to plan, track, and status progress on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.
• Support development and planning of tasks for IMS for additional phases of program lifecycle
• Assist and provide inputs for contract proposals with Basis of Estimates (BOE)
• Manage team resources and staffing forecasts for tracking and hiring
This is a leadership position, and the Systems Engineer Manager will provide matrix and functional leader support to team members assigned to them.
Additionally, manage and support employees, including assistance in development of personal, career and technical objectives.
The Systems Engineer Manager will be expected to work within a multi-disciplinary environment; interfacing with project management, customers, and other technical organizations within the Navy customer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
