Pay Range: $55,000- $65,000 annual pay
What's the Role?
We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to work with our Accounting GAAP team.
Responsibilities:
Post journal entries and cash receipts
Reconcile various balance sheet accounts
Analyze expense accounts
Ensure accounting tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Identify issues and follow through its resolution
Ability to handle peaks and lulls in the workload without losing focus and constantly striving to add value
Establish a filing system to ensure information is well organized and can be easily retrieved
Ability to take initiative-assertive and confident
Strong inter-personal skills
Research and resolve day-to-day financial reporting issues
Responsible for various monthly close activities
Collaborates with various staff and departments in preparing special projects
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
1–5 years professional accounting experience
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Advanced Excel and Word skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines/assignments
Personal motivation and a sense of ownership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
