Boeing is seeking a Experienced Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3) for our Atlanta, GA facility. The Supply Chain Specialist will act as a key liaison between DCMA, external customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. This role involves resolving issues related to materials that cannot be received, working closely with relevant parties to identify and address root causes effectively. Responsibilities also include analyzing inventory data, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory records. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate shipping activities with government entities and the 3PL warehouse under management, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Jacksonville FL.
Position Responsibilities:
Acts as a liaison among onsite customers, external customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
Manages material receipt issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Analyzes inventory data to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records to support operational readiness.
Works with 3PL providers on inventory issues to ensure supply chain efficiency.
Coordinates shipping activities with government entities and ensures compliance with shipping requirements.
Addresses and resolves grief requirements to support seamless program operations.
Optimizes the execution of the supply chain by balancing inventory, supply orders, and schedule demand.
Monitors supplier performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance.
Identifies and mitigates risks and issues within the supply chain.
Initiates supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement
Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 80,750 - 109,250
