Come join Lockheed Martin's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon team. Our system will travel at Mach 5 (over a mile per second)! Helping us create a system that goes that fast means overcoming several difficult physics and engineering challenges. You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype system to the Soldier.
What does this role look like?• You will be the Responsible Product Engineer for managing product through overall full product life cycle from design to delivery.
• You will interface with organizations across the enterprise including planning, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure the delivery of products.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:• Designing, Reviewing, and Releasing Drawings on EPDM
• Supporting Assembly, Integration and Test Activities
• Proficient in troubleshooting Hardware, finding root cause, and corrective action
• Fulfilling Certified Product Engineering duties
• Interaction with supplier
• Presenting technical data to management and customer
• Proactively tracking all day to day assignments and ensure they are completed by due date
• Collaborate within team and across other IPTs to resolve issues
• Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
• Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
To be effective in this role, you will need:• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD
Secret clearance, thus
US Citizenship is required.

• Experience with high-reliability electronics through the product lifecycle.
• Experience with Test Equipment such as DMM, Oscilloscope, Load banks.
• Experience with electrical system implementation and troubleshooting activities, including production support.

• Experience using CAD software such as Creo.
• Performed Worst Case Analysis (WCA).
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Willingness to learn new environments, work independently in exciting development environment.
• Experience presenting and communicating effectively to a broad technical community.
• Experience with Cable Harness Design and Fabrication/Assembly
• Experience with design and/or analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) or Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
