Your Impact
The Copywriter will be responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading high-quality content for various marketing channels. The Copywriter creates world-class copy that is in the Lowe's brand voice with a demonstrated flexibility to write broad brand messages as well as promotional copy.
What you will do
Develops and writes clear, persuasive, and original content for digital, audio, print media, including social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
Collaborates with designers and other marketing teams to understand the project objectives, target audiences, and ensuring content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
Edits and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Conducts research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform content creation.
Optimize content for SEO and other digital marketing best practices.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and content strategies. Presents work to creative directors as part of daily creative review.
Maintains a consistent brand voice across all content and communication channels.
Utilizes ProofHQ to make edits and proofread and Workfront for job workload management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree English and 3-5 years' experience in advertising/marketing as a Copy Editor or Proofreader
Demonstrated detail-orientation with a bias to accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills including an expert of knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling and punctuation
