Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Workflow Automation Expert to design, develop, and optimize automation processes to streamline back-office operations, client onboarding, advisor/client experience, and increase efficiency across our organization. This individual will work closely with managing directors directly to conceptually map appropriate deliverables to ultimately execute upon.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process automation tools, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams to create scalable solutions. This role is vital to improving productivity and ensuring our systems work cohesively and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Optimization
- Assess current workflows and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop automation strategies.
Automation Design and Implementation
- Design, build, and implement automation solutions using tools like Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
- Integrate various software applications and systems to create seamless workflows.
- Develop custom scripts or configurations where off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient.
Testing and Maintenance
- Test automation workflows for reliability, scalability, and accuracy before deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in live automation systems, providing timely resolutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, processes, and system changes.
Collaboration and Training
- Work with internal team members and software vendors to ensure successful implementation of automation projects.
- Train team members on the use and management of automated workflows.
- Document workflows and maintain an updated how-to manual.
Innovation and Best Practices
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and tools in automation technology.
- Recommend new tools, practices, and strategies to enhance organizational efficiency.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, Power Automate, or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high standard, environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workflow automation, process optimization, or related fields.
- Experience with database management is a plus.
- Certification in automation tools (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, Microsoft Power Platform certifications) is highly desirable.
