Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Ethics and Compliance Investigations to lead and oversee our internal investigations into ethical and compliance-related matters. This is a critical role that reports to the Vice President of Global Ethics and Business Integrity. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in conducting and managing internal investigations, particularly within the context of government contracting. This individual must possess strong analytical, organizational, and written and oral communication skills, executive presence, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our operations through thorough investigations, assessments, remediation, and recommendations to safeguard the organization’s compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigations Oversight: Oversee internal investigations into allegations of ethical violations, legal non-compliance, fraud, violations of the company’s policies and Code of Conduct, and other related matters, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Conduct Investigations: Personally manage and conduct complex investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing data to determine the scope of potential violations and risks and identify process gaps.
- Cross Functional Collaboration & Advisory: Work closely with functional and business partners, legal, audit, HR, and others to support investigations and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Assist organizations throughout the company by providing feedback on investigations affecting their areas, potential trends, and mitigations strategies.
- Government Contracting Compliance: Provide expertise in government contracting regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that all investigations adhere to federal, state, and industry-specific guidelines.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive, clear, and actionable reports on investigation findings, including recommendations for corrective actions or preventive measures. Review investigation reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to corporate policy. Make recommendations to senior leadership and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
- Executive Presence & Communication: Present clear, crisp, concise presentations on findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executives, maintaining professional presence with the ability to interact effectively with executive management.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing investigation-related policies and procedures, remediation, and training programs.
- Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple complex investigations and projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree (J.D., MBA, etc.) preferred.
- Experience: At least 12 years of professional experience in corporate compliance, with at least 8 years in a senior investigative role, ideally within a corporate government contracting environment or government agency.
- Compliance & Legal Expertise: Strong background in government contracting laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with a deep understanding of industry-specific compliance standards.
- Executive Presence: Proven ability to communicate complex matters clearly and confidently to senior executives, board members, and other key stakeholders.
- Investigative Skills: Expertise in leading complex investigations, with strong analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills. Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels of the Company.
- Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple investigations and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00
