LinQuest seeks a Senior Test Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, to provide expertise in implementing the Army’s unified “One Network” vision for the Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN).
The PM TN designs, modernizes, fields and supports the U.S. Army’s continually evolving tactical network transport and networking capabilities. The systems in the portfolio enable integrated global mission command, and voice, video and data exchange -- from home station to the tactical edge of the battlefield -- in support of Army, joint and coalition multi-domain operations. These network transport technologies enable the data-centric network environment that commanders need to retain decision dominance and ensure success on the battlefield against near-peer adversaries.

Qualifications:
Required:
- US Citizenship and an active SECRET clearance are required for the position.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience or 15 years' experience without a BA degree
- Experience with preparing and reviewing test plans containing such information as type of test to be conducted, facilities required, proposed schedule, and estimated cost of project.
- Ability to conducts performance tests and evaluation of items/systems.
- Ability to ensures sufficient equipment and resources (e.g. personnel) are available to perform tasks.
- Experience with coordinating test requirements with fellow engineers or subject matter specialists, other PdMs or organizations for tests or facilities that are required for the test.
- Experience with analyzing and evaluating technical data including instrumentation readings, calculations, deficiency reports, etc. to ensure valid results or obtain weaknesses or failures encountered and probable causes, suggested modification and design changes.
- Experience with analyzing design and specification proposals of manufacturers to ascertain that they meet specified general requirements; makes recommendations as to feasibility of designs, time and cost estimates, and other technical phases proposed.
- Knowledge of DoD, DA, acquisition, and ATEC T&E policies and regulations
- Knowledge of instrumentation systems, data collection and reduction techniques, commercial and military standards, and use of management information systems necessary to facilitate testing and evaluation.
- Proven ability in applying data analysis techniques.
- Ability to develop evaluation strategies to include application of design of experiments and modeling and simulation techniques.
- Knowledge of the architecture, protocols, security, network management and physics underlying these systems.
Desired:
- Ability to organize and lead teams through collaboration.
- Experience in more than just testing software.
- Has a broad range of testing experience, such as in addition to software, experience with hardware and testing to Military Standards/Specifications
- Ability to provide technical assistance documenting and presenting strategies/plans to leadership and key stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience supporting the PEO C3T, or Intelligence & Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) program.
- Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DOD spacecraft systems
- Knowledge of IC and/or DOD acquisition roles, processes, and /or program management
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering or Digital Engineering
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000. This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
