Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Asset Management) to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. In this role, you will work alongside engineering managers and account managers to provide Project Management Services supporting our electric utility client. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be part of an established Project Management Office (PMO) within our division, responsible for portfolio management, people leadership, and driving special initiatives. You will play in important role in our client's Asset Management programs, and ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to Leidos' Mission, Vision, and Values.
This position requires the candidate to be located close or adjacent to the Hartford, Connecticut area, as frequent travel to client offices and project sites will be required. This allows us to best serve our localized utility clients as needed. You can expect to work 2-3 days/week out of an office located in Hartford, CT.

This role will take part in driving strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth. The successful candidate should demonstrate experience in integrating IT solutions with asset management systems and possess a proven track record of developing and implementing custom tools and applications to improve data workflows and operational efficiency. This position will play a key role in managing long-term projects in critical infrastructure, with a focus on data integrity and performance optimization.
Required Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Asset Management programs and/or related IT projects
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and programming languages such as Python, Java, R, or .NET.
- Experience with GIS platforms (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, Collector) and spatial data management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Ability to apply machine learning algorithms, perform anomaly detection, and develop predictive models.
- Geospatial & Asset Management Systems: Experience in designing and managing geospatial data workflows, particularly for utilities and critical infrastructure.
Preferred Experience/Credentials:
- Solid understanding of the utilities sector, particularly in asset management and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with workflows in electric transmission/distribution, municipal planning, or water/wastewater management.
- Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification; additional technical certifications (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, SQL Server, Power BI) are a plus.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms and data architecture is advantageous.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
