Leidos is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Specialist for our client’s operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area. The Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community. The Specialist will be required to directly contribute to the implementation and oversight of effective, efficient, and uniform policies and procedures for governing the conduct of investigations and adjudications for eligibility to access to classified information or to hold a sensitive position, government wide.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise and support to senior staff within the Special Security Directorate (SSD) at ODNI/NCSC. The Specialist will be directly supporting The SecEA National Assessments Program (SNAP). The SNAP Team conducts oversight assessments of National Security Personnel Vetting Programs across the U.S. Government to ensure compliance with national policy, executive orders, federal regulations, government-wide standards and directives. SSD operates in a unique, highly collaborate environment and applicants should be adept at briefing senior staff, conducting interviews, writing investigative reports, and communicating policy guidance to external agencies.
Requirements:
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
Demonstrated experience applying personnel security principles and practices to include Background Investigations, Adjudications, SCI procedures, and Trusted Workforce 2.0.
Familiarity with SecEA and Intelligence Community Directives, Executive Orders, and applicable government-wide standards and memorandums which establish policy for personnel security vetting.
Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
