As a part of Wells Fargo's second line of defense and Independent Risk Management team, Independent Testing covers jobs responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities. This ensures performing effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risks and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.
In this role, you will:- Perform detailed code reviews, identifying anomalies and other potential data quality concerns
- Utilize data analytics skills and specialized knowledge to independently research issues relating to data integrity driving to root cause
- Partner with testing team members to educate them on the data received and design strategies to analyze the data including creation of data subsets or calculated fields
- Document data acquisition procedures performed and summarize relevant system access
- Developing moderate to complex data analysis applications using tools such as SQL and/or SAS; developing data analysis applications based on existing routines; working on exception/trend analysis of historical information; assessing and accurately interpreting data analysis results; proposing solutions to root causes of identified conditions; navigating within technology environments to locate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis

Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Technical experience as a practitioner with any of the following: SQL, SAS, Alteryx, DAX, Power BI etc.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
- Ability to retrieve data from various information systems.
- Good understanding of Risk and having worked on Risk Analytics projects
- Experience in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or data visualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
