Description:Action Officer/Project CoordinatorLocation: Greenville SCWhat You Will Be DoingJoin the F-16 Production Operations team in Greenville, South Carolina, as an Action Officer/Project Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives. This position reports directly to the Deputy and Director of F-16 Production Operations and offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on key performance outcomes, team coordination, and project management within a high-profile aerospace program.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Operational Excellence: Lead the execution of the build team’s business rhythm, ensuring the collection, preparation, and reporting of key performance metrics. Streamline internal and external communication flows, track action items, and manage strategic initiatives to foster effective cross-functional integration.
- Support Business Rhythm: Facilitate recurring and ad-hoc meetings, reviews, and emerging requirements, ensuring seamless coordination of internal and program-level activities.
- Executive-Level Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for executive reviews, ensuring “completed staff work” through the consolidation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across quality, cost, schedule, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) metrics. Provide senior leadership with actionable feedback and insights to drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with fellow Action Officers across the F-16 Production Program to ensure alignment on VIP engagements, tours, reviews, and employee engagement initiatives, promoting consistency and integration across the program.
- Track and Resolve Action Items: Document, track, and follow up on action items on behalf of senior leadership, ensuring timely closure and elevation of any constraints that may impact critical milestones or performance goals.
- Lead Strategic Projects: Apply robust project management skills to develop detailed plans, schedules, and resource allocations for assigned projects. Drive accountability among key stakeholders to ensure flawless execution. Support senior leadership with strategic planning for future production rate increases.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
