We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Trailer Sales Representative to join our team in Altoona, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for a Trailer Sales Representative to step into a territory with existing accounts, along with excellent growth potential for new accounts.
Responsibilities include:
· Build strong relationships with current accounts and serve as a single point of contact
· Develop relationships and secure accounts from dormant accounts and non-customers
· Build relationships and collaborate with equipment/rental sales representatives for cross selling
· Maximize revenue in assigned territory
· Proactively monitor market conditions, new products, and competitors
· Utilize CRM tools
· Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications include:
· Two years of related experience (Transportation, truck trailer, or heavy equipment) is required; three years of related experience (Transportation, truck trailer, heavy equipment) is preferred.
· Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills
· Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Effective and demonstrated planning skills
· Basic computer skills
· Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required
