Boeing’s Corporate Labor Relations team is looking for a Senior Labor Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.
The team is looking for someone who has a broad range of experience covering the areas of employee engagement, positive employee relations and labor relations. The candidate for this position will demonstrate proactive approaches to identifying issues, generating ideas and developing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to maintain and foster relationships with employees that ensures a culture where management preserves the direct relationship with employees and the site remains non-union
- Identify risks both internal and external - to a strong, direct relationship between leaders and employees and develop plans to mitigate those risks
- Knowledge, guidance and interpretation on collective bargaining agreements and labor relations issues
- Executing positive employee relations and containment processes for multiple locations
- Providing innovative ideas/initiatives to increase employee engagement
- Providing operational advice and counsel to management, HR and support groups on a broad range of employee relations issues
- Developing strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Generalists, HR functions and union leadership to create integrated solutions that will foster a culture based on relationships, trust and engagement
- Developing and providing education on Employee Relations strategies and processes
- Assisting management and HR in developing strategies related to employee survey feedback
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
- 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects
- 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior business leaders across functions and/or programs
- Experience working with Unions in an HR capacity
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with collective bargaining and an hourly union-represented workforce
- 5+ years of experience working Human Resources
- Previous Experience with Workday
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $97,750 - $132,250
