What does a successful Train Release Engineer/Agile Coach do?
You will help adopt Scrum techniques and facilitate all Agile processes in our team. You will ensure SAFe/Scrum adoption accelerates and alignes with overall Fiserv strategy.
What you will do:
- Lead the ART (Agile Release Train) activities by organizing and facilitating key Agile ceremonies
- Coach Leaders, Teams, Scrum Masters and ART in Lean-Agile practices and mindset
- Collaborate in building high-performance teams; help implement wider Lean-Agile transformation across the Product and Technology
- Facilitate PI Planning readiness, monitor PI progress and facilitate execution of planning intervals
- Ensure that Team PI Objectives are summarized into Program PI Objectives and published for transparency
- Monitor the performance and progress of the Agile Release Train
- Collaborate with RTE Leadership to mitigate risk, manage dependencies, escalate and track impediments and coordinate impediment removal as well as address problems that cannot be resolved independently
- Facilitate continuous improvement across the ART and encourage teams to reflect on their processes, identify areas for improvement and encourage experimentation, feedback loops and the adoption of Agile practices
- Organize and conduct trainings and workshops.
What you will need to have:
- A few years relevant experience
- Knowledge of SDLC process
- Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA / Confluence), Clarity, MS Project, Visio and others
- Agile Expertise: Presents deep knowledge of Lean/Agile principles and variety of Lean / Agile methodologies along with hands-on experience in leading Agile transformation at scale
- Flexible to adapt the approach based on the specific context
- Excellent at coaching and influencing individuals at all levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self motivation, self-driven, confident in ideas and capable of implementing them proactively and independently.
