DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Fleet Manager to join our team specializing in trailer, vehicle and equipment management working hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.

- Vehicle Specification : Apply knowledge of vehicle application and environment to optimize specifications, ensuring they meet fit-for-purpose and safety objectives.
- Vehicle Systems Knowledge : Interpret information from users and repair facilities to make informed decisions regarding maintenance, repair, specification, or vehicle safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university or equivalent degree or significant relevant experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Significant relevant experience required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- The initial focus of this role is solely on towed assets with a gradual transition to a broader scope to include the development of a long-term vision of Cummins fuel and maintenance strategy. The first 12-18 months will require significant travel to Cummins locations across the US and Canada.
- The strategic vision of this role is to establish an inventory, determine replacement parameters, identify proper specifications, reduce under-utilized assets, and implement a telematics tracking system for all towed assets.
- This role may include other duties as required.

- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, safe practices, and cost management will be considered an asset.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and resolve arising conflicts will be critical to delivering on key milestones.
- The candidate will need to make tough decisions, manage change, and use critical thinking skills in times of ambiguity.
