ACI Learning Tech Academy is a nationally accredited, VA authorized, vocational training school focused on helping individuals start and advance their careers in IT & cybersecurity.
Role Summary:
The MVS Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in supporting veterans, active military personnel, and their families as they navigate their educational and career goals. You will work inbound Leads and guide prospective students through the admissions process. The role requires consistent hard work, integrity and ethics as well as a general passion for helping others grow through learning. This is primarily an inside sales role. In this role, you will also occasionally be out in the community representing ACI at military bases, events, and organizations.
What You'll Do:
This position is on-site and must report on-site to our Dallas (Las Colinas) campus.
- This is a quota-bearing role with the primary KPI being # of students enrolled in ACI's career training programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information and guidance about ACI Tech Academy programs, admission requirements, and application processes.
- Guide prospective military and veteran students through the admissions process, including application submission, document collection, and meeting entrance requirements.
- Assist with understanding and navigating educational benefits, such as the GI Bill (Ch. 33), VR&E (Ch. 31) and other funding options available to military-affiliated students.
- Provide personalized advising on program selection based on the student's military experience, career goals, and academic background.
- Responds to inbound leads in a timely manner utilizing outbound platforms to ensure contact rate meets requirements.
- Clearly defines requirements to be successful in ACI Tech Academy’s programs.
- Reengages candidates that do not attend scheduled meetings to rebook for future appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective student interactions, applications, and admissions decisions using a CRM platform.
- Attend military-related events, job fairs, and community activities to connect with potential students.
- Execute candidate Tour according to outlined tour guide to align compliance standards for regulatory agencies.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at management’s discretion.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of Sales, Admissions, and/or Business Development experience working with Veterans and Military
- Previous experience in the military (e.g., active duty, reserve, or National Guard) or prior Military Admissions Experience.
What Would Be Great to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Current active base-access authorization is strongly preferred (occasional/limited travel).
Standard work hours will be:
Mon, Wed & Fri 8am-5pm
Tues & Thurs 10am-7pm
2 Saturdays per month for 4 hours per day

Conditions of Employment:
Must be willing and able to report to campus in a full-time capacity. Therefore, reliable transportation to and from the campus, as well as other off-site locations (as needed) is required for this role.
Must be able to meet the entry requirements for U.S. military installations, including passing a background check and obtaining necessary credentials such as a Department of Defense (DoD) identification card or other required access passes.
This role is designed to be fully onsite and actively engaged within the community. However, we value flexibility and recognize the importance of work-life balance. Once you’ve fully ramped up and demonstrated consistent success, you may have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week, based on leadership’s approval.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule, including occasional nights or weekends to attend relevant local events, as needed.
