We're looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Our Technician Co-op opportunity offers candidates working toward their Associate's or 1-year Certificate in HVAC exposure to a variety assignments which could include: performance testing of furnaces and residential systems, validating new components, and replicating field issues.

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

Pursuing an Associate’s degree preferred, 1 year HVAC certificate minimum.

Overall 3.0 GPA or above. High school transcripts may be submitted for first semester degree candidates
-
Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)

A candidate who has not completed the technical portion of the degree path must have relevant job experience related to electrical or HVAC work.

Basic understanding of refrigeration systems and practical experience installing or troubleshooting systems

Basic understanding of electrical components including practical electrical safety

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with technicians and engineers

Plan, set up, and execute testing in accordance with approved test plan
-
Collect and interpret test data, assuring validity and appropriate detail
-
Promote established environmental, health, and safety procedures to ensure one’s own safety that of others in the work area

Contribute to cleanliness and neatness in the laboratory environment

Demonstrate flexibility to work in multiple areas
