Job Summary:
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for developing Embedded Software for industry-leading products which bring sustainable, efficient climate solutions to buildings, homes, and transportation.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of Embedded Controller Software. This will involve understanding the requirements and performing various SDLC activities like design, development, and testing. Will be responsible for driving the development of software modules from requirements definition to release stage, with minimal guidance. He/She will design and develop software for new products and enhance existing products.
Qualifications:
- Total experience of 5 to 7 years
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or equivalent required.
Key Competencies:
- Has worked hands-on in coding and designing solutions in an embedded systems environment.
- Has worked extensively in creating modular software using C and C++.
- Has worked on developing HMI (Human Machine Interface) software.
- Experience in using Graphics libraries like Qt or Crank Software.
- Familiar with UI design concepts
- Familiar with interfaces like CAN, RS232, I2C, SPI
- Familiar with at least one RTOS like MicroC Os, Ecos, nucleus, or Embedded Linux.
- Good knowledge of embedded tools like emulators, linkers, make files, etc is essential.
- Should have at least one year of experience designing or architecting object-oriented modules.
- Experience in Standard Automotive communication protocols like J1939
