Job Summary： Airside Engineering Manager to be responsible for developing new airside products and improving existing products, as well as improving airside engineering delivery efficiency and quality, and airside engineering team competency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team to work closely with Product Management team, Sourcing team and Plant Operation teams, as well as leverage ETC-AP Engineering resources, to deliver NPD project meeting QDC expectations following PDP process, and to launch innovative new products meeting the ever-changing airside market needs.
- Lead team to develop leading-edge new technologies to achieve product competitiveness and market advantages.
- Lead team to continuously improve in-line product offerings in terms of cost and quality, to achieve better customer experiences and satisfaction.
- Develop Zhongshan airside engineering team competency to achieve better business results.
- Provide engineering support to other engineering teams and other functions in the business when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 8 years+ experience in HVAC engineering related jobs, with multiple function experience is preferred.
- 3 year+ experience in team leader role, with team development and management skills.
- Familiar with NPD and VAVE project process, and has independently lead multiple projects.
- Strong airside product and key components knowledge is preferred.
Key Competencies:
- Master degree or above, major in HVAC engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Excellent English writing & speaking skills will be necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, positive can-do attitude and results-driven mindset are required.
- In-depth knowledge in airside product system engineering, mechanical design, prototyping and test validation, design release and engineering change management.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office software are required (Excel, Word and PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiar with CAD design software’s (Pro-E, AutoCAD etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent in logical and analytical, and attentive and careful in daily work is required.
