WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR
Thermo King in Fremont, Ohio is hiring a Warehouse Technician to perform various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of machined parts.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage the shipping and receiving process for the entire warehouse. Including management of deliveries, prepare shipments, and maintain inventory stock levels of packaging materials. Create barcode labels and templates with existing software. Audit inventory levels of finished goods. Must be able to work multiple hours per day on a computer while managing warehouse flow.
Receiving & Processing of Domestic & Export Deliveries:
- Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment and supplies for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Responsible for inventory control, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy
- Enters inventory into software system.
- Receives material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data fields entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, location; Resolves discrepancies with material quantities, part numbers
- Audit inbound freight
- Audit export deliveries
- Identify and troubleshoot inventory, shipping and receipt issues
- Modify weights and dimensions
- Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DL)
- Log outbound shipments including specific detail (ship date, transporter, etc.)
- Coordinate with local and regional freight companies (setup times, hot loads, etc.)
- Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory
- Insure urgent deliveries ship daily
- Maintain overall cleanliness of warehouse
- Wrap & band freight
- Perform and log 10 pt. safety check on forklifts
- Maintain shipping office and warehouse supplies required for effective operation
- Support yearly warehouse inventory
- Primary contact for warehouse. Customer service and local transportation issues
- Handles bin locations
- Practices safe material handling techniques.
- Completes training as required, including safety training, certification and testing.
- Safely operates assigned material handling equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor

Special Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30lbs on a continuous basis
- Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material
- Must be able to operate forklift and drive backwards
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and reach overhead
- Must be able to be on your feet for 8-12 hours at a time
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts, as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have or had a Tow Motor Operator License
- Shipping & Receiving experience is required
