Job Summary：
As part of Trane Technologies’ Residential HVAC and Supply IT organization, the IT Infrastructure Project Manager will lead project teams and deployments in support of New Site/Site Moves, IPT, Network Refresh and M&A projects. The experienced IT PM will provide guidance to project teams in ways that support the company’s IT Infrastructure. Candidate must perform as a project leader, able to make decisions, be organized, great communicator and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Must be able to lead project and teams in a fast-paced environment. The IT PM should have strong collaboration skills, experience in IT Networks and Project Management in order to be successful.
This role can be remote, minor travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected IT projects
- Coordinate cross-project activities
- Apply change, risk and resource management
- Assess project performance and aim to maximize ROI
- Prepare reports and present to Sr. Leadership (IT/SBU)
- Document and drive issues through resolution, escalating as necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager (self-starter)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desirable
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and soft skills – verbal, written, collaboration and team building
- Strong problem-solving ability; able to think critically to identify improvement opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in BA, BS, MIS or related field preferred and 10+ years of IT experience
- 10 years Project Management experience, emphasis on IT Infrastructure
- Strong experience in deploying Networks (hands-on experience desirable)
- Highly analytical and focused
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute on details, while keeping the big picture in sight
- Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in multiple, concurrent projects
