Job Description:
We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to execute complete embedded software development lifecycle.
Job requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in embedded Linux system to design, develop, test and debug embedded software
- Solid Experience in board bring up and porting Linux operating system to customized embedded target board
- Customization, deployment and maintenance of Linux distribution on different hardware platforms
- Experience in customizing bootloader, kernel and third party open source packages based on the target boards
- Very strong knowledge of Linux, ARM processor architecture with SOC
- Familiar with Linux development environments and various open source build systems and Yocto build system is more preferable.
- Solid programming experience in C, Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Linux kernel and device-driver development
- Familiar with Linux operating system and experience in writing application that runs in Linux platform
- Programming experience in communication protocol like TCP/IP, I2C, SPI, UART,etc
- Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
