That’s because Village Cooperative—the leading senior cooperative housing developer and marketer in the nation—has an immediate full-time opening at our Bismarck location for a Sales Manager. Our business model is already serving over 5,000 members living in more than 2,500 homes across multiple states with a combined value of over $700,000,000.
But we aren’t selling real estate. We specialize in marketing a cooperative lifestyle concept that involves home ownership for seniors (age 62+) with no maintenance—and at a great value. And when we connect with a well-targeted audience, the results are amazing! We are seeking a dynamic, multi-tasking sales manager to share and sell our concept that has just been announced to the senior market. The right candidate will accomplish this through their own unique blend of solid sales and account management experience, coupled with a sincere interest and understanding of the active senior market we serve.
Major duties include:
· Selling and marketing our concept to pre-screened prospect and lead lists
· Prospecting for new leads and customers
· Entering and maintaining sales data and prospecting information in the company’s database
· Managing our sales office
· Coordinating special sales and member events
· Meeting sales goals while building relationships on trust and outstanding customer service
· Working with marketing and development staff to effectively position company and concept
Qualified candidates have:
· A college degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of related work experience
· Experience in sales, preferably in a real estate, housing or senior care environment
· Microsoft application experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM (customer relationship management) system experience a big plus (ZOHO, ACT, SalesForce)
· Public speaking and solid communication/grammar skills
· Meticulous attention to detail
· An ability to multi-task effectively and work independently
· The desire to connect with active seniors while meeting sales goals
