Assist the branch leadership in overseeing the daily operations of the facility and safety compliance. Display superior customer service that meets each customer’s unique set of delivery and installation requirements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure drivers are compliant with their pre trip DVIR and coach as needed
- Serve as subject matter expert in DOT safety; train and coach drivers in DOT requirements and compliance
- Serve as subject matter expert in internal safety procedures and coach drivers
- Conduct job site inspections and load checks
- Lead weekly safety meetings
- Manage and prevent all driver HOS violations
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with internal, state, and federal safety standards
- Manage preventative maintenance for delivery vehicles and forklifts
- Communicate with customers throughout delivery process; manage customer satisfaction
- Handles incoming customer complaints in a prompt and courteous manner; owns the problem until resolved, including the direction of delivery and warehouse personnel
- Efficiently route delivery of products; Oversee the dispatching of trucks for timely and accurate delivery of product to worksites
- Oversee that orders are loaded and unloaded for the vendor or customer promptly
- Assist or directs warehouse personnel in loading and unloading trucks using forklift
- Other duties include order processing, day-end balancing, and assisting with all other areas of running the branch.
Education and/or Experience
- One to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Licenses or Certifications
