Job Description: What You’ll Do Responsible for driving employees' understanding of our enterprise data management strategic priorities through the management of our company-wide communications channels by developing and executing comprehensive communication plans that influence thinking, guide behavior change and enhance culture. This role will also be responsible for developing, executing, and providing counsel on communications that support key business initiatives, and leading the strategic and tactical execution of events that drive and influence company engagement and culture. How You’ll Do It Develops and executes multi-audience, multi-channel change communication strategies and tactics that support key initiatives and are aligned with Discover's business priorities Provides business partners with strategic counsel, coaching and perspective to define needs and support the development and execution of effective change communication plans to achieve desired business results Provides thought leadership and guidance including development of key messages on key strategic internal events or initiatives i.e. town halls, leadership meetings, business unit meetings Develops processes and mechanisms to measure effectiveness of communications and identify improvement opportunities. Manages communications during all stages of the change to ensure consistent, timely, relevant messaging is delivered to target audiences Defines changes and the business needs that drive them, identify stakeholders, develop relevant and compelling messaging to ensure that impacted business units and individuals are aware of the change, how it impacts them and how they will work after the change Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation. Leverages technology and industry best practices Review analytics and create reports on key metrics. Qualifications You’ll Need The Basics Bachelors Degree in Communications, English Studies, or related 6+ years of experience in Internal communications, Corporate Communications, or Related Experience In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Internal communications, Corporate Communications, or Related Experience Physical & Cognitive Requirements Primarily remain in a stationary position. No required movement about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job. Primarily performed indoors in an office setting. Ability to operate office equipment such as but not limited to computer, telephone, printer, and calculator. Ability to communicate verbally.; Ability to communicate in written form. Travel up to 25% of the time. Bonus Points If You Have 8+ years of experience in Internal communications, Corporate Communications, or Related Experience Certified Change Management Professional, or related Well-versed using Poppulo for building and executing messaging Applied understanding of Articulate, Adobe Pro & JIRA Familiar with content and learning management systems Working knowledge of Data Management and DMBOK Well-versed developing & maintaining SharePoint pages Skilled in Viva Engage and Microsoft 365 Ability to write user-friendly, engaging copy about business and technical subjects. Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Compensation: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
