The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Antivirus, Intune, and Endpoint Management. You will play a critical role in supporting federal agency clients by providing technical leadership, implementing enterprise solutions, and ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the primary expert and technical advisor for Microsoft platforms within large-scale federal enterprises.
- Provide strategic guidance on deploying, configuring, and optimizing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Antivirus, Intune, and Endpoint Management solutions.
- System Design and Implementation:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft technologies to support federal clients' operational and cybersecurity goals.
- Implement Zero Trust architecture strategies leveraging Microsoft tools to enhance endpoint security and management.
- Operations and Support:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Microsoft-based platforms in large-scale, distributed federal environments.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Microsoft Defender, Intune, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with federal IT teams to establish efficient endpoint management workflows.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure solutions comply with federal standards, such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Support audits and prepare documentation demonstrating adherence to compliance requirements.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Provide training and mentorship to federal IT staff on the effective use of Microsoft technologies.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and best practices for system management and security.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience working with Microsoft enterprise platforms, with at least 10 years in federal environments.
- Proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Antivirus, Intune, and Endpoint Management in large-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of federal IT ecosystems, including experience with federal agencies like NIH, HHS, FDA, or other large-scale government organizations.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
- Deep knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and its application in federal enterprises.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, automation tools, and endpoint management best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with federal agency leadership and technical teams.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications at the expert level, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Expert
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and other Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Previous experience with federal IT modernization initiatives, such as implementing cloud-based endpoint management solutions.
