The People Business Partner is responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of HR duties for the designated Segment. This role combines comprehensive HR administrative support with generalist duties to support a segment team and involves active participation in HR program administration, employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy administration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage various HR functions and support overall business objectives. This person serves as a key partner to the Segment Talent Leader in delivering key service to the Segment Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tasks related to administering and executing human resource programs, including onboarding, performance and talent management, productivity, compensation, disputes and investigations, recognition, morale, and training and development.
- Collaborate with the Segment Talent Leader and other experts to develop, implement, administer, and support HR policies and procedures.
- Administer company policies and answer questions for Segment team members and leaders. Provide support for unresolved items from People Services or payroll teams.
- Triage and monitor tickets related to job and employee information changes, offers, and offboarding, either resolving them or escalating to the appropriate Talent Leader.
- Support internal job awards and promotions with offer letter materials, coaching hiring leaders on the process, and monitoring to ensure approvals and steps are completed.
- Coordinate termination processes, including exit surveys, discussions, ticket execution, and monitoring deadlines for severance and outplacement agreements. Respond to post-termination inquiries.
- Conduct data mining and reporting to assist Talent Leader. Ensure HRIS employee data accuracy and work with relevant teams for corrections and updates.
- Assist in segment M&A activities and support investigations within the segment.
- May partner with Talent Acquisition to help manage Recruit to Hire process for Segment hiring managers with job descriptions, posting, offer letters, and pre-employment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of recognized, progressively responsible HR experience

Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $78,900 - $118,400, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
