We need a front desk receptionist for our busy, high volume veterinary hospital. We are very busy but still want to provide our clients with excellent customer service. The best candidate will be an effective communicator who ideally has experience in a veterinary hospital setting. Candidate must be efficient and detail oriented.
Responsibilities include:
- Prompt and friendly greeting of clients
- answering phones, taking messages and following up as needed
- checking clients out (taking payment)
- scanning in new or addendum medical records
-updating medical reminders in our computer system.
- Provide basic and accurate information to clients and staff
- Ensure reception area is tidy/help clean exam rooms when needed
- Schedule appointments
- Entering new client/patient information into the computer
Skills:
- Great attitude and team player
- Good energy!
- Previous experience as receptionist (not required)
- Proficiency with computers
- Multi-tasking and time management skills

Experience working in veterinary medicine preferred.
COVID-19 considerations:
We are only allowing 1 client into the building at a time. The client MUST be wearing a face covering and must stay in the exam room at all times. Additionally, all staff members are provided with a face mask to wear inside.
