The Global Marketing Excellence team at General Motors (GM) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Social & Influencer Operations Manager to oversee and streamline, scale and perfect the execution of GM's social media and influencer campaigns. This is a new role within the Social Marketing Excellence center, focused on optimizing and scaling our social operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless delivery of social and creator-driven initiatives.
As an individual contributor, you will serve as a project management lead and work cross-functionally across social, marketing, communications, and influencer teams. You will manage the end-to-end execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment, adherence to guidelines, and timely delivery of high-quality assets. This role seeks a hungry and creative marketing coordinator who will serve as a generalist in the social space across content creation, community building, and influencer program management.

Campaign Operations Management: Lead the process for planning, executing, and tracking social media and influencer campaigns from start to finish. Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Support RACI definition to streamline roles and responsibilities across teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (creative, PR, social, brand, media, legal, product) to ensure campaigns align with brand goals and compliance/legal/safety requirements.

Social Media Content Delivery Support: Oversee the routing and approval process for social media content. Ensure all assets meet internal guidelines (Legal, Safety, etc.) and are delivered on time alongside agency partners.

Influencer Programming Support: Manage influencer and agency relationships, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns, including product distribution, creative approvals, and logistics. Support contract management and ensure deliverables align with brand standards.
